Field / Safety Rules

Our Field Rules

Please read and follow them as some have severe consequences!

  1. First and foremost your goggles must be on your face when inside the field or chrono area. Do not remove your goggle for any reason while on the field. If you remove your goggles on the field we will give you one warning, if you remove them again we will sit you out and go over the player briefing again. If a third violation occurs you will not be allowed to play for the remainder of the day (without refund). If your mask does become dislodged from your face we ask that you immediately cover your eyes with your arm and yell "cease fire". Continue to yell "cease fire" until a ref gets to you.
  2. If you hear someone yell "cease fire", immediately stop firing, plug your barrel, and stay at your position. We will take care of the situation and continue the game if possible.
  3. When coming off the field, please remember to install your barrel plug or barrel bag and put your gun on safety, check the player in front of you for their barrel plug. Keep your finger off the trigger.
  4. The chronograph area is goggles on.
  5. Our field speed limit is 280 feet per second. You must chrono before the first game and we suggest several times during the day.
  6. If you have your own equipment please bring your own tools to the chrono area, then return them to you bag, as you may not take tools onto the field.
  7. Games are started by the referees and last 7 minutes, when you are ready for a game please assemble close to the field entrance and the refs will take you to the field, split teams and start the game. If you are playing with friends let the ref know and they will keep you together.
  8. Paint grenades are allowed however you must notify the Referees prior to using it.
  9. DO NOT SHOOT OVER THE NETS, INTO THE NETS, OR WRONG SIDE OF THE BUNKER. DO NOT SHOOT THE RABBITS, CHICKENS, LIZARDS OR REFEREES.
  10. When you are eliminated YELL "HIT", put your hand or gun over your head and exit the field. Please watch where you are going and avoid firing lines that you may cross. An eliminating his is any splat that is the size of a quarter or larger, on you or your equipment. If you cannot see a hit call for a "paint check" and a ref will come to you to see. If you think that you have hit another player, call for a "paint check" on that player describing the bunker to the ref.
  11. We have a 20 foot surrender rule in effect at WinkeyDoodles. If you are within 20ft of another player, with a blind shot at them you must call surrender. If you spin around and shoot the person who called the surrender on you, you will still be eliminated and will sit out a few games.
  12. There is ABSOLUTELY NO BUNKERING of players
  13. Bunkers are not brakes please stop before crashing into them.
